Udalo sie wywlaczyc bardzo kozystny rezultat dla dwoch braci z zarzutami spowodowania ciezkiego uszkodzenia ciala (GBH – wounding, contrary to s.20 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.) oraz zniszenia mienia w postacji dwoch dzwi wejsciowych do mieszkania. Po twardej dyskusji z policjantem prowadzoncym oraz prokuratorem i odpowiedniu zachowaniu jestem w stanie obronic osobe przed wyrokem w areszcie. Wyrok jest 6 miesiecy zawieszony na 12. Wyrok dla drugiego brata za zniszenie mienia – kara finansowa tylko.
Excellent result for two of my clients at Norwich CC. Charges are s20 GBH and criminal damage. The victim in the matter tragically loses sight in one eye. I start robust discussions with the officer in the case and prosecutor. Finally I am able to save my clients from a custodial sentence. We plead under a favourable basis. One of them receives 6 months suspended for 12 the other a financial penalty only. This is the second time in a few months I have achieved a suspended sentence for a GBH offence.
